This Month's Thoughts...January

  • One of my least favorite things to observe is when some a-hole pulls out in front of you, drives incredibly slowly, and then runs a yellow light, leaving me to sit there and watch them putz away, while I'm stopped at the light.
  • Tony Robbins might be my guru.
  • After years of looking at people on the bikes in gyms, thinking they've taken the easy way out, I've become one of them, and: it's a great workout.
  • I hate the news.  Always have.  Do more so now.
  • My dislike of the news started with the weather.  All my jobs in high school were outside.  So the weather mattered.  But it seemed that when I watched for what was likely going to happen, it would always be the opposite.  So if I'd plan for rain, it'd be sunny; if I'd plan for sun, it'd be rain.  Now, people are like watch the radar.  But the radar is even worse if you are colorblind.
  • Confidence seems to be among the most important of things.
  • We can, always, make things happen when and if we choose.
  • The truth is that the power to do resides right now, with us.  Always.  It has.  Any and all things begin with the first step. The first action.  Any success is just a series of actions, and a major goal is just a bunch of small things that happen one after the other.
  • So, the most important thing is to take a step.
  • People are much more similar than different.
