It’s been a little since I’ve posted anything, but I’m back with good news: I got a book deal!

There’s been a lot of noise recently, and the world is going crazy. It’s easy to enter that noise or get caught up in the chaos. I made a choice not to. The past several years I’ve been busy writing a book about God and Politics.

Plainly: it’s a call for a more open faith, and offers a values-based approach to talk about the things that divide us, using readers to find commonalities rather than differences.

The idea for the book started after the 2016 election, which was truly bizarre. What started in 2016 only gets more relevant today.

While writing, I’ve mostly taken a break from social media, and avoided much of ‘The News’, books, and commentary because I’ve had something to say that I didn’t want clouded or impacted by the thoughts of others. Now that I’m back, I realize: I haven’t missed much.

Just yesterday, the Vice President called a swath of America the “Fart Left”. The President told his audience the word “Dumb” has a “b”.

Meanwhile prices continue to rise. Many systems in the U.S. are not working well. Few politicians are offering any type of solutions that work for Americans. It’s lead to apathy, negativity, and silence. There’s a tension. Many people are unwell. We need to change that. Things won’t get any better UNTIL we do something.

Reclaiming the Narrative is a book about God and Politics. Its goal is to offer a values-based approach with the goal of helping create equitable solutions that make the world better for all. I’m not trying to get anyone to change their mind or telling you who to vote for; nor am I trying to get you to believe anything specific about God. Rather I suggest bringing the values of the country you love and the God you serve to your daily life. That’s how we make it better person by person, department meeting by department meeting, day by day. Together, we can make things better .
